Sad News As Glo Discontinue Blackberry Internet Serivice (BIS)

There was a time Glo Blackberry Plan saved internet users, there was a time it was the raining network and even in terms of speed, it was not exempted. Something happened, they employed an enemy that tampered with their network… hence it became slower than a common typical African snail.(lol)

We all once upon a time tweaked our Android IMEI to use the Glo Blackberry Plan, hence it made MediaTek processor popular in Nigeria even till today.



Etisalat started the trend of stopping the usage of Blackberry Internet services on Blackberry OS7 despite the facts that WhatsApp extended their live support to Blackberry devices till June 2017. Now Glo has announced the sad news.

Dear Customer, starting December 17, 2016 BlackBerry services on your device (BBOS7 devices) will no longer be available. You can still continue to use the device to Call and Text. We request you to migrate to a BB10, Android, Windows or IOS handset to use your remaining data.

Which Blackberry Plans will be unavailable on Glo BlackBerry?

The below mentioned plans will be unavailable for purchase & renewal starting 17th Dec, 2016

> BlackBerry Absolute weekly plan
> BlackBerry Absolute monthly plan
> BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS)
> BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES)
This is painful but you must migrate to an
Android Phone or iPhone… no matter how you love your Bold 5, Curve or Storm, it is already dead on arrival. Even Blackberry Company has pretended as if they are not the creator of these smartphones.
