How to Add Android N Quick Reply features on Lollipop and Marshmallow

Android N operating system has been on air for some weeks now, and I know that most of you making use of Nexus device are already enjoying the developer’s preview of the Android N operating system. The developers preview already reveals most of the features the Android N is likely to have once it’s available in full.


Those of you already running Android N developers Preview on Nexus devices should be familiar with the quick reply features on Android N operating system. It’s a feature that helps separate notifications of every contact including a reply button, so that you can easily action a quick for every message received, even without altering the messaging application.

The Quick reply features is a very important features and improves user experience on messaging. It’s one of the most advanced Android N features, and getting to install this features on our Android devices running on lollipop and marshmallow operating system would do us great good.

How to Add Quick Reply Features on Lollipop and Marshmallow



1. Firstly, download the Quick Reply application from Google Playstore.
2. After that, launch the application, accept terms and tap “ Please Activate Quick Reply”.
3. On notification access, allow quick reply.


4. You can make some adjustment of the app on settings.
5. That’s it, quick reply features enable, you can reply message without getting to launch the app. reply from notification, just as seen in the image below.

· Quick and direct reply for predefined messages
· You get to hand pick any quick reply
